If you are completing this application it's because we have an opening for our Path to Partnership program ("P2P") at one of our offices, or, if we do not, then you would like to be considered for our next intake of P2P.

Because Path to Partnership grants a successful graduate an option to take a Prime Lawyers membership you'll need to know more before considering whether P2P is for you. By completing your details you allow us to send you an information pack which includes a copy of the employment agreement with call option offered to the successful applicant.

As the Prime Lawyers membership is a valuable asset there is a fee associated with exercising the option, but this is fee is negotiated as part of your P2P agreement during the interview process, and remember, there is no obligation to exercise the call option at the end of the period of employment.

All P2P applications will be treated in the strictest confidence for an indefinite duration.

By accepting our agreement we are also able to send you higher-level information about the Path to Partnership program.

Once we have sent you further information we will also be in touch via your preferred medium if we think you have what it takes to be considered for P2P. If so, you will be invited to submit further details we request from you and/or attend a face to face meeting. Successful applicants will be offered a place in P2P and upon acceptance will begin employment as an employed solicitor at the host location with the additional tutelage of the P2P program.

Confidential Information Non-Disclosure Agreement

BETWEEN: Prime Law Group Pty Ltd ACN 161 889 872 of 137-139 Bathurst Street, Sydney ("PLG")

AND: You ("the Applicant")

Introduction

A: PLG wishes to provide the Applicant further information as to joining Prime Lawyers under our Path to Partnership (“P2P”) program.

B: The information to be provided by PLG is confidential.

C: In consideration of PLG agreeing to send the Applicant P2P information the Applicant has agreed to keep the information confidential in accordance with the terms of this agreement.

It is agreed:

• For the purpose of this Agreement 'Confidential Information' means all information contained in the information document(s) provided by PLG as a result of an enquiry as to P2P or membership in the Prime Lawyers Group, including but not limited to the Prime Lawyers Group Invitation Booklet, Franchise Agreement and disclosure document, together with all correspondence issued by PLG or its directors marked as commercial in confidence.
• The Applicant acknowledges the Confidential Information is confidential, has commercial value and is owned by PLG.
• The Applicant agrees, warrants and gives a solicitor’s undertaking that he/she will keep all Confidential Information secret and confidential.
• As part of the Applicant's obligation to keep the Confidential Information confidential, the Applicant must:
  • take all steps necessary to safeguard the confidentiality of the Confidential Information;
  • not copy or print the Confidential Information unless authorised in writing by PLG; and
  • immediately report to PLG any unauthorised use, disclosure, copy or printing of the Confidential Information of which the Applicant becomes aware.
• The Applicant may disclose the Confidential Information to professional advisers of the Applicant for the purpose of obtaining bona fide professional advice, and the Applicant’s Spouse, on the condition that those persons agree to keep the information confidential on the same terms as this agreement.
• This agreement survives the Foundation Member and/or Path to Partnership selection process. The Applicant's obligations will endure until and except as otherwise provided by any further written agreement between the parties.
• This agreement may not be varied by the parties except in writing signed by the directors of PLG.
• The Applicant acknowledges that the making of this agreement does not oblige PLG to disclose any particular information to the Applicant.
• This agreement is governed by the law of the State of New South Wales and the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of that State.
• If any provision of this agreement is held to be unlawful, invalid, unenforceable or in conflict with any rule of law, statute, ordinance or regulation, it is to be severed so that the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions are not affected.
